An election was held for the Head of SEMA (Student Senate) -HIMA (Student Association) Faculty of Business on Friday, November 4, 2022. The election was attended in onsite by students from batches 19, 21 and 22; while batch 20 could conduct the vote online or onsite, using the forms provided. The onsite election took place at the Student Center, GWM and the election time was 08.30-15.00. All Faculty of Business students who would take part in the onsite election must bring a Student Identity Card (KTM). The vote count was represented by the committee and was live on Instagram @sema.fb.maranatha, @himama_maranatha, @himatha_maranatha from 15.00 until finish.
This election involved six candidates to fill the chairman position, consisting of two candidates for Chairman of SEMA (Student Senate), namely Imelda and Daniel, two candidates for Chairman of HIMAMA (Management Student Association), namely Agnes and Vania, and two candidates for Chairman of HIMATHA (Accounting Student Association), namely Fadila and Marchel.
After all students done with the voting, the committee began collecting ballots that were conducted onsite and online and started counting them. After the calculation process, the committee announced the results of the vote count as follows:
Candidates for Chairman of SEMA:
Imelda received 395 votes
Daniel received 204 votes
Candidates for Chairman of HIMAMA:
Agnes received 201 votes
Vania received 200 votes
Candidates for Chairman of HIMATHA:
Fadila received 146 votes
Marchel received 67 votes
Based on the results of the votes obtained by each candidate, the new Chairpersons of SEMA, HIMAMA, and HIMATHA are hereby pronounced, namely:
Candidate for Chairman of SEMA: Imelda
Candidate for Chairman of HIMAMA: Agnes
Candidate for Chairman of HIMATHA: Fadila

Hopefully, you will become responsible Chairmen/women and can work together with other members to better realize and carry out their respective organizational programs for the 2023/2024 service period.
