For freshmen and seniors of the Faculty of Business, Maranatha Christian University, of course, they are already familiar with PKOSH. Maybe you don't know the details about what PKOSH is? Prospective participants who want to enter the world of the Faculty of Business association must know this.
What is PKOSH?
PKOSH stands for Sema-Hima Organizational Leadership Training. This set unit can also be interpreted as a coordinating body for the implementation of student activities. . PKOSH participants are students from members of the Management Student Association (HIMAMA) and the Accounting Student Association (HIMATHA) of the Faculty of Business at Maranatha Christian University. This activity is carried out annually during the preparation period for the SEMA-HIMA committees.
If the activity is carried offline, the training will be held outside the campus such as at DODIK, Secaba, and other training venues. Meanwhile, if done via online, the series itself comes in the form of seminars that are still related to the material. This is the orientation stage for the candidates of the SEMA-HIMA association of the Faculty of Business at Maranatha.
In terms of activities, PKOSH contains material provisions to sharpen leadership traits, provide organizational materials, train thinking concepts, hone problem solving skills, behave in discipline and responsible manners, understand conflict management, and conduct performance appraisals or evaluations that can be used as a medium for developing talents and leadership skills. This activity is absolutely fantastic!
The event emphasizes on the leadership and intellectuality aspects of prospective SEMA-HIMA candidates. The aims of the SEMA-HIMA Organizational Leadership Training are:
- Regenerate every candidate of SEMA-HIMA association
- Prepare and equip PKOSH participants who will take parts in SEMA-HIMA association
- Increase understanding of students and their organizations
- Improve and develop soft and hard skill soft skill dan hard skill bagi calon pengurus SEMA-HIMA
- Increase awareness and commitment of every candidate
What will you do later?
Here, you don't just meet new friends from other study programs. However, you will get new experiences, learn how to be a leader, learn to coordinate, learn about cooperation, and much more.
Make activity proposals in the form of:
- Simple financial reports. Consists of cash inflows and outflows.

In addition to providing opportunities for students to develop themselves through organizational activities, these activities also play a role in demonstrating the existence of the study program in student activities on campus.
Based on the explanation above, the implementation of programs in each association is supported by educational and inspirational materials.
